Fathi was just 19 years old when he was arrested for a nonviolent drug offense. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and during his time behind bars, he witnessed firsthand the brutality and dehumanization that is all too common in the American prison system.

Upon his release, Fathi faced a new set of challenges. He was unable to find a job, and he struggled to reintegrate into society. He was also haunted by the trauma he had experienced in prison. However, Fathi refused to give up. He dedicated his life to fighting for criminal justice reform and to helping others who had been affected by mass incarceration.

Never Alone is a powerful and moving account of one man's journey through the criminal justice system. It is also a call to action for all of us to work towards a more just and equitable society.
