About the Authors

Dan Marino

Dan Marino is a Hall of Fame quarterback who played for the Miami Dolphins from 1983 to 1999. He is the Dolphins' all-time leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and completions. Marino led the Dolphins to two Super Bowls, in 1984 and 1985, and was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1984.

Don Shula

Don Shula is a Hall of Fame coach who coached the Miami Dolphins from 1970 to 1995. He is the NFL's all-time leader in coaching wins, with 347. Shula led the Dolphins to two Super Bowl victories, in 1972 and 1973, and was named the NFL's Coach of the Year in 1972.
